Best out ther for the price! September 8, 2009 Amber P. (Cleveland, OH) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought this for my husband because his job takes him on the road a lot. He absolutely loves it! It's a great value, stores a lot, and it easily moble. I highly recommend this to anyone who tailgates or is on the road a lot.
Great functionality, shotty material June 7, 2010 Scott Graham 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This cooler worked great for our road trip up the East coast. I would give 5 stars if it came with a regular 110v plug (this is an optional accessory). It would have been nice to plug in at the hotel rather than constantly moving things between cooler and mini fridge. Also, the foam lid on the inside tore almost immediately when my wife was trying to push something into the cooler. She was not pushing hard and it was nothing sharp, but the inside vinyl covering a foam rectangle in the lid was VERY thin and almost brittle. It didn't suprise me that it tore. Didn't affect the functionality, but disappointing.
Great Cooler July 6, 2010 AngelAnn (Chicago, IL) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
We bought this for our vacation because we always go to the cheese house while we are there. We bought 6 squares of cheese and put them in the cooler and plugged it in the wall(we also bought the plug from Amazon which has one end for the wall and one end for the car). Then on the way home(2 hour drive) we plugged it in the car. The cheese was cold when we got it home. We also put our leftovers in it during the trip.
It is not very big so be sure to check out the size deminsions, but it was large enough for us and our needs.
I would recommend.
Good solution July 29, 2010 INGRID WALSH If you have a tight space and want a powerful cooler, this one's pretty good. It's sturdy & lightweight. The cooler cranks up quick and kept things cool in 100+ degree temperatures.
The motor can definitely be heard when you're stopped and not driving, but I have yet to experience one that doesn't.
The upright design worked perfectly for us, behind a front seat. The top allows easy access to the beverage. The capacity isn't huge, so only consider this model if you want something for a few drinks and don't have much space.
Good value September 6, 2010 Baby Boomer 4 (Kentucky) We purchased this cooler just before a 3 week trip to Canada. It worked as advertised. We did cool it down the night before and it kept our drinks cooled, but not cold the next day. It is easy to plug in and even full it rolls easily. We bought the transformer to keep it running in the hotel room and that worked. My only complaint is that the exterior pockets on the unit are not large enough to hold the cords and definitely not the transformer.
We left it plugged in at several stops during the day and the contents stayed cool. I'm not sure they would have stayed cool if not plugged in. It is VERY quiet and fit easily behind the console.
Overall we're pleased and will use it on future trips.
